Discussion Questions: 1 Samuel reading What inner qualities do you hope people see shining out of you? And an activity: Wax resist paintings to go with the Samuel reading. Write or draw prayers on a piece of paper for anyone who is going through stormy times at the moment. Fold the paper into a boat and if you like float your boats in a pool or large bowl of water (or visit a creek). Or use these steps to learn the Mark reading off by heart (can be used by most ages). Talk about a time when you cried to God "out of the depths" like David did in Psalm 130. Discuss with your children how you pray for them and a time you might have prayed particularly hard for them. |
